CRFA members take Parliament Hill by storm


(Oct. 17/11) CRFA’s inaugural Restaurant Industry Summit on Parliament Hill kicked off yesterday, bringing prominent restaurateurs and leaders from many of Canada’s largest restaurant and foodservice companies together with federal Members of Parliament and high-ranking officials. The event opened on Monday night with special guest Hon. Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism.

The two-day event aims to elevate the profile and influence of CRFA and Canada’s restaurant industry in Ottawa and highlight our industry’s central role in the country’s economy and culture. We are telling federal politicians and top bureaucrats that creating an environment where restaurants can grow and prosper is good policy and good politics.
