B.C. Informed Dining campaign kicks off

“We want to be part of the solution in making healthy choices, easy choices in B.C. This program has the potential to help restaurant patrons become more conscious about what they are eating - it also shines a light on those establishments already providing menu nutrition content while encouraging other restaurants to follow suit.”

– CRFA’s Mark von Schellwitz in B.C. government news release, May 16, 2012

(May 22/12) The B.C. Informed Dining Program launched its promotion campaign on May 14 to inform consumers about the program and participating establishments. The campaign will feature eight early-adopter restaurants from different sectors of the industry, representing 300 foodservice outlets.

About the campaign
The promotion campaign is multi-faceted, and will combine Global TV features, consumer contests, advertorials, online and print ads with major daily and community papers, and transit ads.

CRFA was quoted in the government’s press release launching the campaign, as well as in advertising, advertorials and on the B.C. Informed Dining website.
